She is Founder and Executive Director of the Image Resource of New York. She is considered the coach's coach.
During the last 20 years she has coached and trained thousands of individuals from executives and media personalities to support and sales staff, in the art of perception management, business etiquette and customer service. She has advised such corporations as Clairol, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Robert Marston Public Relations, The American Bankers Association, Screen Actors Guild and AT&T on interpersonal image communications, personal promotion strategies and perception management.
Dominique Isbecque is a founder and Past President of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), Coordinator and Adjunct Instructor of the Certificate Program in Image Consulting at Fashion Institute of Technology. She is certified in color and image by Personal Spectrums, as a DiSC distributor and coach by Inscape, as a Certified Strategist by Coach U and in media training by Robert Marston Public Relations.
Isbecque has been instrumental in building the field of image and personal communications through her speaking engagements, seminars, TV appearances and radio guest spots. She has written for and been featured in such national publications as The New York Times, Vogue, Glamour, Forbes and the Color Association of the United States' - Color Compendium Dictionary. Dominique was honored with the 1996 IMMIE Award for her personal and professional commitment to the Industry by AICI and with the 2001 Award of Excellence.
Ms. Isbecque has held positions as President of Beyond Fashion Inc. in New York, Director of Training for LOOK Consulting International and was the first national spokesperson for 1-800-FLOWERS. In addition, she is co-author of The Perfect Fit, How to Start an Image Consulting Business. Her background also includes work as a photographer and documentary filmmaker.
Born in Africa and raised in both Belgium and the United States, Ms Isbecque now resides in New York City. She holds a B.A. in Contemporary Arts, is fluent in French and conversant in Spanish.
