The Image Builder’s Training Program is a comprehensive and dynamic program and run by the Image Resource Center of NY LLC. Its Executive Director, Dominique Isbecque, is a founder and Past President of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), and serves as Coordinator and Adjunct Instructor of the Certificate Program in Image Consulting at Fashion Institute of Technology. She is certified in color and image by Personal Spectrums, in Leadership Studies by NYU and as a Strategist by Coach U. Are you fashion-savvy and always seem to just “know” what looks good and what doesn’t? Do your friends and family constantly ask you for fashion advice when dressing or shopping for new clothes? Have you ever thought, “Hey, I could do that,” when watching one of television’s numerous makeover shows? Consider becoming an image consultant and put that natural talent to use or simply hone your skills for personal and/or professional use. The Image Builder’s Training Program successfully integrates technical and aesthetic skills and business development with practical application. The program is taught in modules, layering information sequentially. The full program is 9 days in duration, although you can take separate modules. Prior business experience is an asset, but not a requirement. Although we prefer to train you in all areas - color, style, wardrobe, personal shopping, menswear market - we welcome qualified applicants with other professional color and image consulting skills. Women’s Wardrobe & Style Analysis: Wardrobe service for clients requires methodology of figure & style analysis, personality and lifestyle evaluation, strategic dressing and image psychology. The methods taught are our unique consulting techniques. Discover how to structure and market services such as the image assessment, personal shopping and closet analysis. This module is held over 3 days. Tuition fee: $1,800. Tuesday -Thursday October 13-15 2009 or Friday- Sunday November 6-8 2009 Color Analysis: Learn and experience the basic skills of color analysis and the relationship to personal style. Color draping with "guest clients" is included along with marketing direction. You will learn the skills needed to become a successful color consultant which is the foundation of image consulting. This module is held over 2 1/2 days. Tuition fee: $1,650 Friday -Sunday October 16-18 2009 Advance Class Monday October 19 2009 Closet Analysis for Image Professionals: Develop the skills and strategies necessary to effectively assess, edit and organize a client’s wardrobe. Learn how to give mileage to existing pieces and identify the clothing and accessories necessary to fill in your client’s wardrobe gaps. Discover the sequence of steps necessary to ensure a successful closet consultation. Personal Shopping Day & Shopping Field Trip:This day takes you through an actual Personal Shopping experience with an authentic client and utilizes all the skills and methods learned to this point. Students participate in and observe a full range of services from image and wardrobe assessment to a personal shopping trip. This is a full one-day training with one instructor per 4 students. Prerequisite of fashion style assessment and body and line analysis. Tuition fee: $650. Thursday October 22 2009 or or Wednesday November 11 2009 Menswear Market Primer: This class addresses the psychology of dealing with the male market, construction of menswear, style interpretation through lifestyle, body analysis, personality and clothing fit. It includes an on-site retail demonstration, a shopping resource assessment, and practice with a guest client and consulting protocol. Also included are marketing tips, turning a single sale into a multiple sale, consulting sources and sales tools available on the market. One textbook is included. This module is held over 2 days. Tuition fee: $1290. Wednesday-Thursday July 1-2, 2009 or Friday -Saturday October 23-24 20009 Propel Your Business to Profit: This class is geared toward all consultants and entrepreneurs who want to take their business to the next level. In two days, learn the essential skills you need to communicate your message with confidence, clarity and conviction. This program includes needs assessments, methodology for designing client solutions and winning sales communications. For both coaches consultants and trainers, this program is a must have for simplifying the sales process and building your successful consulting/training practice. This module is held over 2 days. Tuition fee: $925.
